Light a Spark is the annual Fourth of July extravaganza hosted by the Stillwater Public Library Foundation and generously sponsored by the Huelsmann Foundation and other local businesses and donors. Set against the beautiful backdrop of the St. Croix River, the Johnson Terrace at Stillwater Public Library is a terrific location to enjoy the 4th of July. Light a Spark is a both a significant fundraiser to support Stillwater Public Library's programs, materials, and services and a community-building initiative. Attendees are treated to dinner, refreshing drinks, a cash bar, lively music, and engaging games, ensuring a memorable experience for all. The highlight of the evening is undoubtedly the breathtaking view of Stillwater's extraordinary fireworks from the library terrace! Light a Spark is the Stillwater Public Library Foundation's only fundraising event of the year and it raises money to support many important activities at the library including Sunday hours, books and materials, library programs for adults and children, and much more. Parking spots are highly limited, we apologize in advance. Also, please note that if the event is canceled due to bad weather or any other circumstances beyond our control we cannot offer refunds.
